POETRY, Syllable Tapestries

Scattered, Diced, Covered, and Smothered

Transparent heart,
what inhabits thee?
What is submerged in the honeycombs of your soul?
Fingers touch.
And the river rises.

The light wore away;
albeit, the heart still remains,
braised
and seared
yet scattered,…

-Hash Browns; Scattered, diced, covered, and smothered?

-Here! That’s me!…oh miss, Got any Tabasco?
